Ages 2-15
Class ratio: 6 participants/ 1 instructor.
Any participants that are not potty-trained must wear a swim diaper.
Skill Progression:
Basic Breathing Techniques
Body positioning
Floating
Intro to kicking
Basic arm movements
Log rolls (breathing)
Freestyle Stroke
Backstroke
Breast Stroke
Butterfly Stroke
Treading Water
Introduction to Water
Participants develop a understanding of proper body positioning, introductory breathing techniques, floating, and kicking skills.
Basic Stroke Development
Participants focus on strengthening the basic skills of the freestyle and backstroke.
Advanced Stroke Development
Participants are introduced to the breast stroke, butterfly stroke, flip turn and diving. Participants also continue to improve their freestyle and backstroke as well.
